     Basic Proofreading:  $5 per page*
     Substantive Editing:  $8 per page*
     Rewriting Level One:  $12 per page*
     Rewriting Level Two:  $15 per page*
      

Documents over 10 pages are charged at the rate of $40 per hour, although discounts apply for longer documents.

* A $50 minimum fee for Exceptional Edit.com services applies to all orders.
 
Note:    A standard, double-spaced, typed page contains 250 words.  (If the project is not typed, there is an additional fee of $2 per page.)   Exceptional Edit.com reserves the right to refuse any material that is not deemed suitable.  
 
Turn-Around Time and Fees:
Turn-around time is normally two to five business days. 
·        Turn-around time is based on document size, word services required, and the desired completion date on the order form.
 
·         For larger works (i.e., book manuscripts or projects larger than 20 pages), additional time may be required. Turn-around time is negotiated after a five-page sample or chapter is received.   
 

·         Rush service is available for an additional charge.  Let us know your deadline on the order form, and we will include the fee, if any, on an e-mail invoice for your review.

Once you have completed the order form and submitted your work by e-mail attachment to aggie@exceptionaledit.com, you will receive an invoice that includes the fees, the estimated completion date, and any rush service charges that apply.  You will then review and approve the invoice prior to submitting payment. Payment must be received before the start of word services.
Please note that payment is to be made by credit card through Pay Pal, which ensures the safety and confidentiality of your credit card.  You do not need a PayPal account to use this service. Charges for longer book manuscripts will be made on a monthly basis.
Payment by postal money order is also accepted, however, payment must be received by Exceptional Edit.com before word services begin.
